It's Market Season

The market season has sprung, and tomorrow marks the first day of the South of the James market in Forest Hill Park. Look for DogTown Lounge's red tent on the left about halfway down as you enter, we should be in the same spot as last year. I'm looking forward to seeing all the faces I've missed all winter! :)

It's been a busy winter, and there will be plenty of tantalizing treats available at the booth. As always, these healthy and high-value snacks are carefully dehydrated in our custom Dryalata™ right here in DogTown. Tomorrow's menu will include Dried Pork Liver, Chicken Gizzards, the ever-popular Dried Chicken Fingers, and a fresh supply of Dried Chicken Feet from Ault's Family Farm. If you're a Charley Chow or Spike's Chicken Salad customer, please email to let me know if you need anything different or extra for tomorrow's market.

There have been some changes to our packaging, most notably that all of our packaging is now recyclable. The frozen containers are also compostable, and the treat bags can be recycled anywhere that takes plastic bags. Spike's Chicken Salad is now available in 20oz square containers, that are much easier to stack in the freezer, and have more secure lids than the 16oz ones did. Charley Chow is now available in both 32oz and 60oz containers, and we're on the lookout for a square 32oz replacement with a better lid as well.

Please don't hesitate to bring your dog to the market booth, all dogs are welcome to sit for a Dried Chicken Finger. Remember we always have water available for thirsty dogs, a courtesy towel and biodegradable bags for picking up after your excited puppy.
